The Band Lab delivered a cinematic musical experience for the SOCOE Annual Dinner 2025, held at the Sheraton Hotel Kuching. The event featured a bold “Dune x Hunger Games” theme, requiring a repertoire that matched the intense, high-stakes atmosphere of the popular film and television franchises.

To meet the creative demands of the evening, The Band Lab provided a formidable 12-piece string ensemble. The larger-scale string section was specifically chosen to produce a rich, “wall of sound” effect capable of conveying the drama and tension inherent in the event's theme.

The ensemble performed a curated selection of intense modern classics and television scores, including the sharp, rhythmic energy of Karl Jenkins’ "Palladio" and the evocative textures of Max Richter’s reimagined "Four Seasons." The setlist also featured standout pieces from the hit series "Succession"—specifically "Andante in C Minor" and "String con Cuoco"—alongside the iconic, sweeping themes from "Game of Thrones" and "The Crown."
