What an incredible honour and truly memorable evening it was for us, The Band Lab, to be invited to perform at the prestigious Petronas Powering Knowledge Education Sponsorship Award Presentation Ceremony (APC) 2025! Held recently at the Sheraton Kuching, this significant event celebrated the outstanding achievements of over 100 Sarawakian students. It was inspiring to see their dedication and potential as they embark on their academic journeys, and we were thrilled to lend our musical talents to such an occasion, setting a celebratory tone for these bright young minds.

Our 15-member orchestra, along with the captivating voices of Dell Lawrence and Chien Ng, delivered a diverse and engaging repertoire that resonated with everyone present. We performed beloved local favourites with universally cherished classics, creating a unique mix of repertoire for the evening.

The audience enjoyed powerful and emotional renditions of Jaclyn Victor's iconic "Gemilang" and Faizal Tahir's rousing "Gemuruh," showcasing the vibrancy of Malaysian music. Adding a touch of timeless charm and enchantment, we also performed popular classics, including Disney's magical "A Whole New World," which brought smiles to many faces.

It was genuinely inspiring to witness the dedication and success of these young scholars, who are poised to become future leaders and innovators in Sarawak and beyond.
