The Band Lab, The Strings Lab, and The Symphony Lab  ignited the year 2024 with an electrifying flashmob performance at Spring Mall Kuching on 13 January 2024 starting at 8:00 PM. 

This sensational event captivated audiences with the magic of music, featuring approximately 40 talented musicians, predominantly youths aged 15 to 35, who are all part of these three innovative music initiatives.

The carefully curated repertoire for the evening included beloved film favourites, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all attendees:

• Mission Impossible
• My Favorite Things
• Soon May the Wellerman Come (brass quintet)
• I Will Always Love You, featuring local singer Chien Ng
• The Greatest Showman

This flashmob is more than just a thrilling musical performance; it's a celebration of music and an opportunity to engage the community in an exciting way.

The event's key objectives include:
