Miane Sng started playing the tuba since he was 14 years old. At 17, he joined the Malaysia Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and took lessons from Dr. Brett Stemple. He later attended Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music (NUS) on a full scholarship as the first Malaysian tuba student. He is currently an active performer and a brass wind instructor.

 

PERSONAL STATEMENT

​I believe in the idea that music brings diverse groups together through the shared experience of music creation. I want to draw people closer in a harmonious relationship through the medium of Western orchestral music, and I invite those are who interested to join me in the world of music.​
