Anthony Wong has been the Band Instructor at his alma mater, St. Joseph’s School, since 1998, working principally with the Winds Section.  Over the last two decade, he has helped lead the school band to competitive and non-adjudicated success in Malaysia, Singapore, Italy and Germany. SJS Band recently returned from Rastede, Germany as 1st Runner – Up (Gold Medal) in the 64th International Rasteder Musiktage. In 2015, a Gold Medal finish at the Yamaha Cup held at the Metlife Stadium in New York, USA winning top marks, amongst the various participating American High Schools along the Eastern seaport.

In June 2014, Anthony collaborated with Ms. Chan Lay Na of the Lay Na Ballet Academy, Ms. Chong Pek Lin, Music Lecturer of Teacher Education Institute Batu Lintang, and the Sarawak State Symphony Orchestra, in a ballet version of an operetta entitled "Life in the Jungle" that originally premiered 30 years ago by the late Datin Julia Chong, one of Kuching's music iconic figures. Mr. Wong is currently engaged as a General Music Teacher and Junior Head of Department of Humanities & Social Studies at Lodge National Secondary School Kuching. Anthony received his Bachelor of Music Degree from Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA) in 1994.
